My Journey: From Trauma Therapist to Financial Guide
My career has been a tapestry woven from diverse threads. I began in media and wellness, then as a trauma therapist, guiding individuals through the intricate paths of emotional healing.
My story doesn’t stop there. In the media world, donning multiple hats – from public affairs news anchoring to radio hosting, I also had behind-the-scenes roles, including production, marketing, writing, and editing. Yet, the fusion of my therapeutic insights with media experience sparked a unique mission. I needed to help people create financial security, and I had to help messages be heard. I founded a public relations agency with a purpose – to empower those who, like herself, have experienced adversity. Many clients are in the wellness, psychological, or medical industries.
My own journey is the driving force behind my professional life. My mission is clear: guiding others toward thriving and creating generational wealth beyond survival and debt relief. To live as a free spirit.
I was a member of the American Psychological Association and the American Marketing Association for years. I’ve shared insights with thought leaders in various industries, embodying the ethos of lifelong learning. I now focus on finance.
My training in transpersonal psychology, financial education, and lifestyle science from Harvard Medical School equips her with the tools to help individuals find harmony in their financial journey.
Though trained, licensed, and with three decades of experience, I don’t identify nor promote myself as a therapist; instead, I am a guide on the path to liberation emotionally and financially under the umbrella of coaching. I’m a mentor, educator, instructor, and coach. I’m also the host of the podcast “The Finance Therapist” and author of several books on the topic of financial therapy. I aim to help you uncover the connection between financial wellness and emotional healing.
