Free Parent Support Circle: Navigating Change Together
As public and private funding for special needs services continues to decline, many families are left feeling isolated and overwhelmed.
The Parent Support Circle was created-on a whim admittedly- because I felt like I needed to do something -anything– to fill that gap.
At this juncture, my goal is to offer a consistent, compassionate space for parents and caregivers of children with special needs to connect, share, and find guidance.
Each weekly session provides a blend of emotional support and stress-relief strategies designed to help parents feel seen, supported, and empowered — regardless of their child’s diagnosis or stage of development.
In time, we will add resources.
Whether you’re navigating new challenges, searching for community, or simply needing a place to exhale, this group exists so you don’t have to carry everything alone.
What to Expect:
- A safe, confidential, and understanding environment
- Weekly live discussions and guided topics
- Emotional support for burnout, advocacy stress, and family balance
- Tools for navigating educational, medical, and emotional systems
- Access to shared resources and peer insight
Please note that when you sign up, you will also receive my weekly email on financial therapy to reduce financial anxiety; my email is not set up yet to differentiate the two groups- and honestly, I think we all need financial calm as well, so maybe it’s a silver lining.
Anyway, as an autistic woman who has raised a son with autism and now having grandchildren with special needs, please know I feel this situation deeply. This is the least I can do.
Most sessions will be on Zoom, on Friday nights, eastern time. Sign up below. Again, there is no cost- ever.
